Depth of Field Workshop – Update

A good time was had by all at the Master Depth of Field (DoF) Workshop held at Didcot Railway Centre yesterday. The weather was good not too: cold, hot, windy, bright or dull!

The Workshop focused on the 4 levers that control DoF. Many photographers find it difficult to get shallow DoF in their pictures. The required camera settings were clearly demonstrated in the workshop tutorial held in the Refreshment Rooms.

As we wandered around the steam centre we found much potential photographic content to be snapped up. I gave the participants Arthur and Chris feedback on the pictures they were taking as they were taken. The instant review gave them the opportunity to retake the shot with minor adjustments as required to improve depth of field.
